We’re excited and proud to (finally!) announce that we will be hosting a Regional Championship of Fantasy Flight Games’ Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game!
It will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March 2017.
We’ve gone for two days as we are aiming to make this a 128-player event and we expect that the knockout phase will deliver some of the best quality play.
On the Saturday all the players will compete for a top 16 slot in the knockout, with these players reconvening on the Sunday to fight for the glory of the top slots. For those who don’t make the top 16 there will be plenty to keep you entertained, including a smaller store event and pickup or large format games – all of which will be included in the price.
Players will require one 100-point squad built using the standard rules, and all tokens, templates and cards they will need during the day.
Fantasy Flight are one of the best supporters of organised play and all of the latest tournament rules, FAQs and a squad list that players will need to fill out and bring with them on the day can be found on their website: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/x-wing/

In addition, the number 10, 12 and 14 buses all stop within 100m. If you’re coming by train, the nearest rail station is Long Buckby.
There are a number of hotels in Daventry and we will publish more details in the near future.
