15mm FIELD of GLORY RENAISSANCE SINGLES COMPETITION Over 2 Days.

Competition Format : –

Games will be 3 hours 20 mins long (plus a 1-10 min(s) variable calculated by the Umpire.

850 points plus the value of their cheapest base cost i.e. if the cheapest points for a base are 5 points then the player can have up to 855 points in their army.

Amended rules and points as per the BHGS website.

Theme: – Italian Wars – Early 16th century Europe, Date 1494-1555

Armies Allowed: – Maximillian Imperial, Italian Wars French, Trastamara Spanish, Italian States (one of the following  Milan, Florence, Papal, Naples, Genoa, Pisa, Savoy) , Italian Wars Venetian, German States (3 armies),  Early Henrician English, Later Henrician English, Scottish, Border Reivers, Irish, Anglo Irish, Caroline Imperialists (Not in Africa).

MALIFAUX TOURNAMENT

This is a 3 round fixed leader event running alongside the UK Masters event. Whilst last year’s top-ranked players battle it out next door, show your potential for 2024.

There will be 5 games, 3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday. The entry includes buffet lunch both days.  (please inform us if you have any special dietary requirements)

Missions will as has always been the case at Corrivalry be tied to tables. All the missions in the More Missions (other than Annihilation) and some or all of the missions from the new LW books will be used.

Attacker defender will be determined based on the makeup of forces.
For a single formation force a HQ made up entirely of tank teams will count as 2 points, a HQ including infantry and tank team (e.g. panzergrenadiers) will count as 1 point and an HQ entirely of infantry teams will be 0 points. A force with two or more formations will sum these values and then average them . The force with the higher score will be the attacker, in the case of a tie the attacker will be the winner of a dice off.

Scoring will be the standard Flames of War system.

Forces should be 100 points and built from any published late war book.

Players can submit two lists with a 40 point variation between the two. Bear in mind you may end up defending in a mission with deep reserves and if you have an all tank force with an all tank variation then that is your choice.

Choice of which army a player will use is to be made after finding out who your opponent is and what table and mission you are to be playing. It is possible that choice of army could impact the attacker defender calculation so it must be done before that happens.

A two day Open Swiss style Bataille Empire tournament held on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th Febraury 2024 at Battlefield Hobbies in Daventry.

Dazmaul wargaming tournament is a Matched Play Warhammer Age of Sigmar tournament created by the team behind the Dazmaul wargaming twitch and youtube channels. This tournament is for the casual gamer.

FURTHER DETAILS TO FOLLOW

In outline the way it will operate is that there will be several campaigns being run simultaneously.  

When people book they sign up for one of those campaigns, there being 4-6 player slots per campaign.

Each campaign will have one person running it and they will provide 3000pt Pacto armies for each of the player slots but we would also welcome players to bring their own Pacto army to use instead.  Where this happens the person running the campaign will act as the list checker.  The person running the campaign might also play in their own campaign or they might just act solely as the umpire.  It’s up to them.

Probably we will only want to offer full weekend tickets at the same price point as last year’s event and including the packed lunch option assuming that is still on offer.  We will however endeavour to operate a “buddy” system for people that can only make one of the days to match them up with another person who wants to play in the same campaign but can only make the other day.
