Combat Patrol Carnage

A Warhammer 40k 10th edition 1 day event – using only combat patrol armies

Event Summary:

This is a friendly 1 day event aimed at newer and less experienced players with the aim of exploring and gaining experience and confidence with playing 10th edition. it is an opportunity to meet new players and try your armies against forces that you may not have fought before.

This is not a serious competitive event – having fun is much more important than a win!

What You Need to enter:

This is a combat patrol format event, so you will need to be able to supply a combat patrol made up as detailed by the Games workshop listing – you can find details of combat patrols here

All abilities, enhancements and secondary stratagems must be only from those allowed by your chosen combat patrol. Missions will be determined on the day and will be combat patrol missions played on a combat patrol sized table.

What you need to bring:

Make sure you bring your army, it doesn’t matter if its not painted, although we will be giving a prize to the best painted army.

Don’t forget your dice and tape, any wound markers and it would be helpful if you had a handy reference/print out of your army stats etc.

Timings etc:

Arrive in time for first draw an games to begin at 9.30am. we will allow plenty of time for the game so everyone can enjoy playing at a leisurely pace without rushing. After lunch break we will proceed with the draws for the second game.

there will be an award for the best painted army.

We will award a prize to the person who scored the most victory points on the day
