100 point Mid War Flames of War tournament

The event will comprise five games. Three on Saturday two on Sunday.

Game 1: 9:30-12:00 +/- 5 mins – Encounter, Dust Up or Breakthrough
Game 2: 13:00-15:30 +/- 5 mins – one of missions not played in game 1
Game 3: 15:45-finish – Rearguard
Game 4: 9:30-12:30 +/- 5 mins – No Retreat or Bridgehead
Game 5: 13:30-16:30 +/- 5 mins – Counterattack or Hasty Attack

Determining attacker /  defender: each player calculates their offense value as follows, 2 points for each armoured formation, 1 point for each mechanised formation and 0 for each infantry. The player with the higher offense value is the attacker. In the case of a tie roll a die and the higher score is the attacker.

Forces from any official source published at least 2 weeks before the event will be allowed.

Command cards may be used with the points to pay for them being taken from the 100 point allowance.

If a player wishes to bring both an Axis and an Allied force to avoid blue on blue games then they may do so. If both players have armies of both sides then each player rolls a die and the higher scorer plays Axis.

Should player numbers allow the initial rounds will be split by theatre, the first round draw will be done so as to maximise in theatre games as a minimum.
