Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Regional Championship

We’re excited and proud to (finally!) announce that we will be hosting a Regional Championship of Fantasy Flight Games’ Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game!

We’ve gone for two days as we are aiming to make this a 128-player event and we expect that the knockout phase will deliver some of the best quality play.

On the Saturday all the players will compete for a top 16 slot in the knockout, with these players reconvening on the Sunday to fight for the glory of the top slots.

For those who don’t make the top 16 there will be plenty to keep you entertained, including a smaller store event and pickup or large format games – all of which will be included in the price.

Players will require one 100-point squad built using the standard rules, and all tokens, templates and cards they will need during the day.

Timings for the side events on the Sunday will differ from those of the main regional but we will aim to have them all complete by 16:30

Refunds

You can get a no-quibbles refund up to and including Saturday 31 December 2016.

Then, up until two weeks before the event, you can get a refund if you can either supply a substitute player, or we are able to fill the space from the waiting list.

If you cancel within two weeks of the event no refund will be given

Prizes

Prize support will be given out on the day from the official Fantasy Flight Games Regional Championship Kit and this will be supplemented by Battlefield Hobbies – further details to follow.

The winner will also be awarded a first round bye in the National Championship.

Food and drink

Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks will all be available from the venue.

Getting here and accommodation

We are very centrally located and close to the M1/M6 interchange. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of Battlefield Hobbies.

In addition, the number 10, 12 and 14 buses all stop within 100m. If you’re coming by train, the nearest rail station is Long Buckby.
